This is such a great book in the way it handles discrimination, unfair work practices and the difficult choices that immigrants make to come to this country. I know we only have three more chapters before these posts are all done, but I have to say that at one point near the end, I wanted so badly for Esperanza to be back in Mexico, because that's where "home" was for her, her country. : (<br /><br /> The bus scene at the end!
